Diversity At The Table, also known as DATT, is an organization that was founded by Talesha Wilson in 2014. The intent was to bridge the gap between campus (formal education) and community (informal education). Both are essential to being well-rounded and having cultural competency. DATT focuses on the intersections between gender, race, class, and sexuality. In addition to that, the organization pays close attention to how each of those social constructions contribute to the ways in which people see themselves in relation to society and how they are treated by society. These experiences are measured by creating events and programs that focus on core issues. Click below for more information on DATT's events.
